So here is what we did in Nepal

we worked with a ministry host who had lots of experience in the past with World Race. So he knew a lot what he was doing, which was really nice. Our main ministry was every day. We would go to the lumps in the morning before the kids go to school and then go to the slumps in the evening after they return home from school. Pretty much what we would do Is In the morning, we would teach them more English and math except for Fridays was always a fun day/game day. Then in the evenings we would teach the Bible stories, sing songs or act out skits. The kids ministry really isn’t my favorite. I did really enjoy going to the slumps because the kids were so fun to be around. But also the girls I was leading during this country were so good at connecting with the kids. It was fun to watch them interact and watch them lean into their gifting that the Lord has called them to. There’s not really too much that stood out here in the slump other than the poverty that was in the slums. It was pretty much worse I’ve ever seen, which was so sad to see how people were living, but yet they all were so content with life. On Friday Afternoons, we would have Shabbat shalom with our ministry host, where we would either go out to his house or they would come over to our house and we would Have a meal together and worship, and have a little teaching and really have fellowship with each other as the body of Christ. The family was so cool to watch interact because they Represented really well what a family should look like and how they interacted and poured out with each other and really had fun with each other as well.
on the last week of our time in Nepal, we got to do some trekking through the mountains, which was so so fun. We were able to meet with a pastor that our ministry host had connected with for the first time and go see what his church was about way back in a village that was pretty much unreached and helping and support him in that. We also had a little devotional that night, which was so fun to see the believers from the village, and we just worship the same king this week was definitely my favorite because sometimes we would have to drive back the river because the river was really low to get to the villages. And then we would hike somewhat as well. We then moved to another city after the village called. Chet won for the next night and got to ride elephants through the jungle. Sadly, we didn’t see any tigers, but it was still a really cool experience. The next day we went to another city called Pokhara It was a very tourist town. But where we were staying was Right outside the The city on the other side of the river, which no one used to go to that side because there was no way to cross the river. And we worked with a pastor who was called to the other side of the river and actually started the first church on that side about 10 years ago. We got to work with him and do house visits and encourage the believers over there as well as us getting encouraged by watching how others live in community. Then we had one day and Pokhara Where we got to have fun And it was one of the girls birthdays so we went on the world steepest zip line, which was so fun. During this day, it was so amazing to watch the Lord answer all of our prayers for her birthday. We asked the Lord For it to be sunny and for the clouds to open up because it had been muggy and cloudy and we went to brunch and the clouds opened and closed as we got there and left so we could see the mountains. Then also we weren’t able to go on the zip line if it is raining so we prayed that the rain would go away and it was raining the entire time we were going up the mountain to go to the zip line, but we got to the top and it slowed down a lot, and there was a giant double rainbow, which was so cool to watch the Lord just answer our prayers And went above and beyond. The Lord really taught me about depth with not only him, but also with the people around me how much I desire that and how much more you really get to know a person if you know how their heart is. He also taught me a lot about intentionality and where I lack in it, which I’m so blessed to learn from the girls that I lead during this time. The people of Nepal are so hungry for the word of God they’re just really lost and have no direction, and out of all the countries I’ve been to my heart is for Nepal more than any of the others. Not only because they’re so ready, but also because of all the unreached in Nepal. This was the first time that my heart actually Heard for the people and mourned for them, that I can remember. So I can definitely see myself going back to Nepal in the future.

Swazi

The first five weeks of Swazy have been crazy so far there has been a lot happening, and the Lord has been showing me so much and bringing me into deeper communion with him. There hasn’t been one normal week yet in Swazi because there’s always something happening. The first week we get here we had something called awakening, where there were two other squads on the field that came together, and we worship prayed, really just awakened our soul and saw the Lord in that. It was such a blessing to be able to even see my old squad, leader and talk with some of my old squad mates, who are squad leading. It was such a refreshing time and so good for my soul the next week. we had about two days of ministry before the parents came out to the field for their parent vision trip. Then the next week it was Focus around the parents. My parents did not come out this year so I stayed back with everybody else else’s whose parents didn’t go out and really. We just had a great time because the house was quiet and we ate a lot of good food, and it was really good to connect with those people and just check in on them. Then the next week we had Debrief, we we went to Nelspruit South Africa. This was a good time just to talk about India and Nepal and see what the Lord has done and where we need more growth as well. Then we come to the last week which has been so so good. All of us leaders went to Durban South Africa for a little retreat, which I learned was well needed. We all had things that we needed to sit with the Lord on, for me it was more reconciliation with the Lord and for me to refocus my eyes on him. A lot of our discussions were on this book called naked trust by Eric Gilmore, highly recommend, and pretty much the book is talking about God being your only and what else are you putting in front of him. One of the quotes in the book says the reason so many people don’t Experience God as they’re all because they never find him as they’re only this was one of the main things I was pondering and it was so good to sit with the Lord a lot this past week. We did have fun as well when we went snorkeling with sharks and went to the beach a nd got to worship with each other, which was amazing. So that’s pretty much what has been happening with my life do you have any questions comments concerns feel free to reach out and thank you guys for praying for me. I also wanna thank you guys for providing for my financial needs as I am fully funded, praise the Lord!
